    Origin:
    Battra was created by the Zen of Earth's Lifeforce many eons ago to destroy the civilization of the Cosmos (see Mothra mini-home page). Battra was defeated by Mothra then but still acts as a force to protect the Earth whenever it feels threatened by non-natural technologies. It reappears in 1992 in response to ever growing pollution and environmental stresses placed on earth by Japan.
